This new arrival, bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG carries special significance thanks to an intense inbreeding to ALLEGRETTA, the revered foundation mare of both REIMAGINED and TORQUATOR TASSO. Furthermore, TORQUATOR TASSO’s sire, ADLERFLUG, introduces ALYA—ALLEGRETTA’s full sister—into the pedigree, while GLENEAGLES’ sire, GALILEO, is out of URBAN SEA, another daughter of ALLEGRETTA. The result is a heightened concentration of one of the most influential female lines in modern thoroughbred breeding.
This filly is REIMAGINED’s third foal. Her first offspring is the 2yo colt RETIARIUS by VICTOR LUDORUM, in training with Roger Varian. A yearling full brother to RETIARIUS is raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and will be offered at one of the leading yearling sales later this year.
REIMAGINED hails from the NAYEF mare RUSOOKH, whose full sister KHAIMAH produced the multiple Group winner GLOUNTHAUNE. Another sister, WADYHATTA, is the dam of Irish Derby hero SANTIAGO, Gr.1 placed LA JOCONDE, and multiple Groupwinner GROSVERNOR SQUARE. RUSOOKH herself again is a sister to the Gr.1 placed Stakes winner MOTAMARRIS.
