03/04/21 Roxette won in the style of a better horse at Cork

The now 4yo ROXETTE (Holy Roman Emperor-RUSOOKH) won in the colors of Kathleen Whelan, ridden by her son Ronan and trained by Michael Halford on only her fourth outing in the style of a better horse while carrying the top weight with more then 2 length at Cork. Already placed at 2 years when in the hands of John Oxx, the filly injured herself, but looks as if she could progress into a nice filly this season.

ROXETTE was bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and sold as a foal at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales to Larry Stratton/Church View Stables by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK. She is the second foal, second runner and second winner for her dam in Ireland. RUSOOKH has a 2yo filly named REIMAGINED by GLENEAGLES in training for Stall Bürgenstock, her yearling colt by CAMACHO was sold as a foal at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales and she is currently in foal to MAGNA GRECIA.
