14/05/15 two winners today ...

First was the 3yo AUGUSTA (Tertullian-Acerba) winning her Maiden first time out this year at Dortmund. The filly was prepped at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and sold by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK  at the BBAG Yearling Sales on behalf of its breeder Gestut am Schlossgarten. AUGUSTA is trained by Waldemar Hickst and owned by Stall Lucky Owner. 

The last race on the day at the prestigious Dante Meeting at York was won by LYCIDAS (Zamindar-La Felicita) after a fine effort and in a promissing style, even being already 6 years of age. His young trainer mentioned Royal Ascot as next target for the lightly raced LYCIDAS, who always was held in high regards, but had some niggeling problems in his youth, which prevented him to fulfill in the afternoon, what he had promised in the mornings. One of the main problems were his feed, which led to the withdrawal at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales. LYCIDAS is bred by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg at their SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN.
