The Goffs Orby Sale saw considerable increases during the two days of selling and good horses fetched good prizes as it should be.
STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK had prepped one filly for this sale at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and it paid off to send the daughter of OASIS DREAM out of PEARL BANKS the long way to Ireland. Bred and owned by Haras de Saint Pair, she was the most expensive of the four fillies representing the successful sire. Coming into the ring as Lot 421 consigned by long time partner Abbeville & Meadow Court Studs, she failed to be sold in the ring, but was sold in a private deal afterwards to Cregg Castle Stud for €270.000.
Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg as breeders were represented at the Orby Sales with one yearling as well - but he already was sold as a foal. This colt by SEA THE STARS out of FOUR ROSES was purchased by John Ferguson on behalf of Godolphin for €140.000
