DRESS REHERSAL won the Orchid Stakes, Gr.3 at Gulfstream Park, Gr.3 and thus her first Pattern Race. She already was a Stakes winner in Ireland. Now owned by Swettenham Stud, the filly was bred by Sunderland Holdings, who purchased her dam SASSENACH from Stall Stoof at the Arc Sale 1999. SASSENACH was selected by Stauffenberg Bloodstock at the Tattersalls Houghton Sale 1997 on behalf of Stall Stoof and was in training with Harro Remmert. She raced only once at 2 under his care and finished fourth. Later in training with Aidan O´Brien she won at 4 in Ireland.
