STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK purchased DANCE OR ROMANCE at the Arqana Vente d’élevage at Deauville. The mare by leading sire KINGMAMBO out of the family of SADLE´ WELLS and NUREYEV was sold by Haras de Louviere, the French breeding operation of Lady Chriss O’Reilly and is in foal to First Season Sire  STORMY RIVER. The first two foals of DANCE OR ROMANCE are both 3yo winners in France. Her yearling by VERGLAS (sire of STORMY RIVER) went into training with leading trainer J C Rouget in France.
An interesting aspect in the pedigree of the mare is the close inbreeding on the own sister and own brother in blood NUREYEV (damsire of KINGMAMBO) and LISALEEN (2nd dam of DANCE OR ROMANCE).
